ORIGINAL 500d Cordura™

The TQR 2.0 plate carrier is made in full 500 denier Cordura laminate which is 35-40% lighter than traditional MOLLE webbing systems. The low weight adds less stress to the body during wear. The laminate is two layers of cordura 500D, making it extremely strong (15 times stronger than steel), flexible and thin.

This offers you the best possible mobility to wear over a long period of time. Our laminate fabric is water-resistant, abrasion-resistant and has a high tear resistance for long term use.

Cordura 500 is a high-performance fabric crafted from 6.6 polyamide thread, specifically designed to withstand heavy mechanical wear and abrasion. One of the key features of Cordura 500 is its ability to resist tears, scuffs, and general wear. Quick release buckles from italian 2M™

We have integrated the shoulder strap and cummerbund to come with the unique quick release buckle system from Italian 2M. This is perfect for an emergency situation, as the buckle can be released three times as fast as normal velcro.

The 2M Quick-Release Buckle is an advanced fastening system known for its strength, ease of use, and reliability in critical applications. It is widely used in tactical and military gear like plate carriers. The buckle’s single-handed release mechanism allows for rapid disengagement while ensuring it stays securely fastened under normal conditions, preventing accidental release.
