Our PGD U-line side plates NIJ level 4 are designed to provide additional coverage for the sides of the torso, complementing front and back plates in body armor systems. Typically used by military and law enforcement personnel, side plates protect vital areas like the ribs and organs, enhancing overall protection in high-risk environments.

The plate is made of Monolithic SIC, which means that there is a large piece of ceramic at the front of the ballistic hard armor plate, which is our lightest ceramic solution.

    Additionally, it is encased in a 100% water-repellent Cordura cover, offering protection against water, oil, and other similar liquids, ensuring the plate's integrity and durability in various conditions.
